Rise of the Mobiles
While this is an American report, America does set the standard and lead the way for global digital advertising. That is why it should be of particular interest in terms of a heads up.
It presents Mobile Advertising data and projections across a series of headings, and it demonstrates that mobile advertising is firmly in the mainstream.
There are a few stand outs. Of particular interest is how the rise of mobile effects advertising spend on other media, and the report demonstrates that one third of mobile spend is substitution of spend that would have otherwise gone to print, desktop and TV, with print (as usual) being hit the hardest.
However, in terms of TV – there is an interesting segment on what marketers foresee to be the next big opportunities in marketing, and connected TVs come out on top, followed by connected cars and wearables.
