Emerge – Exploring the Nexus of Film & Digital

An upcoming event in Cork, called EMERGE, features some of the world’s leaders in digital audience building and cross-media practice.

The theme of the event is to explore how Digital is driving the evolution of the film industry and pushing the bounds of creativity. EMERGE explores this convergence of digital innovations and traditional media platforms. EMERGE showcases a series of talks and discussions from filmmakers, technologists, producers and artists who use emerging technology to reach wider audiences and to find new ways of crafting stories.

Speakers include – John Boyle, the Digital Director at FleishmannHillard, Darragh O’Connell, the Creative Director of Brown Bag Films, and Vida Toombs, Executive Producer at Vice Media Inc.

The event takes place on November the fourteenth, and tickets are 20 euro.
