Opt in to Optimise – 2014
OPTIMISE, the e-Commerce Website Development Fund initiative from the IE Domain Registry is now accepting applications for its 2014 small business / start up accelerator programme.
This fund is open to dot ie domain holders who are in need of professional assistance to develop their online presence and upgrade their web presence to incorporate such features as online product directories and booking, ordering and real-time payments platforms.
This year the €150,000 fund is open to 15 such businesses. Last year’s beneficiaries included The Butler’s Pantry, a producer and retailer of hand prepared artisan meals, breads and desserts through 10 retail locations in Dublin and Wicklow. Eurocycles, and offline and online retail organisation specialising in the import and supply of bicycles and bicycle related products to the general public in Ireland. And Air Impact, a Tipperary based wholesaler and distributor of pneumatic tools and equipment.
These companies benefited from one to one consultations with technical, marketing and various other experts to significantly enhance the e-commerce capability to their websites.
If you wish to apply to be included in the 2014 round, final applications must be in by 20th June, 2014.
