Buying Signals go Mobile
The man behind the app development company Furious Tribe, is launching Pulsate, a new contextual marketing tool which tracks customers inside a shop or business and informs owners of exactly how these customers are behaving.
The app that Pat Leddy is launching is called Pulsate, and it will monitor how customers interact with specific products and it can incentivise them to buy by, for example, sending a special offer to the customer’s phone. Essentially, it will allow business to connect with their customers in a passive manner while they are on the shop floor.
Surprisingly, this appears to be a first, as no similar product is in existence.
Pat Leddy states that there is strong interest States Side in this app, and by his estimates the app should generate revenues of 36 million euro in the coming five years.
