App For Pharmacies

An Irish Software Development company that specialised in patient centred technology has recognised a need in the market for an App for Pharmacies. They have developed an app called ThePharmacyApp that allows pharmacies to interact with their customers, and so far it has been taken up by 50 independent customers. While Ista charges a small outlay and Licence fee to develop this as a bespoke app for their Pharmacy clients, it is free to customers on both Android and IOS platforms.

The app allows customers access to the Pharmacy details – it allows customers to locate the pharmacy and local health services on a map or direct dial; it allows customers to see what services the pharmacy has to offer, to re-order repeat dispensing of their medications, to use a pill reminder for their medications, and to browse the pharmacy’s website and to watch related advertising content with special offers locally. Future plans for this app include reward and loyalty programmes and more interactive stock and shopping enquiries.
