CoderDojo Conference
“A CoderDojo in every parish in the land.” That is the wonderful aim expressed by Bill Liao. If we can achieve that, we’ll surely be able to call ourselves a Silicon Tiger.

As a part of that noble aim, CoderDojo has organised a conference in Limerick for this October. This will be a gathering of mentors and potential mentors, and the hope is that it will give a boost to the expansion of CoderDojos from a total of 41 in its first year, to . . . well Bill Liao hopes for as many as 1,000 in Ireland.
The stated aim of the conference is to put together working groups of mentors from different dojos around the world to help develop Best Practice Guidelines in their areas of expertise, be that in the areas of technologies or of organisation.
The conference will be held on October 13 at The Limerick Institute of Technology. For more details: http://conference.coderdojo.com/
