Digital marketers recognised in awards lineup

The closing date for nominations for this yearâ€™s IIA Net Visionary Awards is fast approaching. Applications are due in by this Friday, 29 July.

Now in their 13th year, the awards are run and voted on by the internet industry in Ireland. There are 15 categories in total, which according to the organiser, Irish Internet Association, â€œreflects the prolific business use of the internet in Irelandâ€.
There are new and updated categories this year. The three updated awards are for mobile app developer, social media and digital marketing. The four new categories are for Best Open Data Initiative, Best Breakthrough Brick to Click, Best Cloud Service and Best Rookie awards.
While companies and individuals are nominated by the community and shortlisted by an expert panel, the winners are voted for by the public.
The shortlist will be released on Wednesday, 17 August, and the awards will be held on Friday, 30 November.
