Programme is a launchpad for job creation
The closing date of 8 July is approaching for the National Digital Research Centre’s (NDRC) latest LaunchPad accelerator programme.

Since its launch 18 months ago, NDRC has invested in 28 companies over three programmes.
Those firms now employ over 50 people, according to Gary Leyden, director, NDRC LaunchPad.
The 12-week intensive scheme sees individuals or teams of up to three people bring concepts through to market-ready businesses.
Participants access a mentoring programme, weekly workshops, networking events and investment of up to €20,000 per project.
One graduate, bsm@rk, has just added to its staff. The Italian firm developed an online tool for emotionally tagging and reviewing web content.
“One of our firms secured strategic investment before the 12 weeks was complete, and a further two closed their funding round within weeks of completing LaunchPad,†says Leyden.
In its latest call for applications, NDRC has received a number of applications from the gaming space.
LaunchPad’s open evening takes place on 30 June.
