Hooke and Popey's soothing balm goes stellar!

George Hooke and Brent  Pope are sitting on a goldmine and they don’t even know it.

On their recent road show, the two rugby pundits introduced a Balm for players who get big hits.

Well after this weekend, a good marketer would suggest they market it to the fans – they say that bad news comes in threes, but with last week’s and the weekend’s events, it surely comes in fours.

Firstly, it is looking likely that the biggest sporting media spectacle in Europe, the Heineken cup, will be pulled next year due to the French clamouring for more loot, and the strong probability that the English clubs will follow suit.

Next you have Leinster getting turned over in Gloucester, in which our sporting hero, Shane Horgan, got a serious injury to the knee which will more than likely rule him out for the six nations.

And finally, forget about Jade in Big Brother, the Munster forwards were badly bullied in Thormand Park.

And the fourth bad thing for me was when I heard an experienced rugby enthusiast say he is putting down money for England to win the grand slam.

So seeing that there are more knocks in the stands than on the field these days, Hooke and Pope should quickly re-brand and flood the shelves.
