A pink website win an award?? They said it couldn’t be done. They said it was impossible. The doubters, those who like to play it safe, those web luddites . . . oh, how they slung their arrows and darts. But we were steadfast - we remained pink and proud . . . (please forgive the little textual victory dance here!)
Our vindication came last night when Prosperity.ie won best recruitment website of 2008 at the Golden Spiders Awards.
This is the first time the award in this category has been given to a recruitment company and not to a jobs board. Previous winners were such heavyweights as Irishjobs.ie and Monster.ie.
We were really delighted to accept this award at the Burlington Hotel last night.
The site was designed by Kevin Finn of Finn Creative and he was joint Creative Director with Martin Wright of GospelTM. All Usability Design and SEO was done in house at Prosperity. This is the fourth award for Prosperity this year having scooped Grand Prix award and best Sales Ad with their “ Thank God it’s Monday†ad at the 2008 Irish Independent ERA awards. Prosperity also won best sales and marketing ad with the campaign “Welcome to Sales-topia” at the Irish Times 2008 Cedar Awards last week.
